Walking home I stop
in awe
I gaze at the blazing red-orange leaves, once spring green
Every year this glorious autumn display greets me
God’s way of saying, “Stop and look. This is me saying I love you to you, and all who take the time to pause…”
I smile and whisper “Thank you” in my heart and I walk on
Grateful to be so loved.
